Pr. Mounir ABID

My name is Abid Mounir, born on August 7, 1986, in Tahla. I am an Associate Professor in Process Engineering at the Higher School of Technology (EST) in Dakhla, part of Ibn Zohr University of Agadir, specializing in industrial processes and sustainable development. I also coordinate the Food Process Engineering program at EST Dakhla.

I obtained my PhD from the Mohammadia School of Engineers, where I developed a keen interest in waste valorization and biodiesel production. I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship on the biological desulfurization of phosphogypsum at MASCIR (Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research). My academic and professional journey has provided me with solid experience in research and teaching in the field of process engineering.

Passionate about sustainable development, I devote part of my time to studying innovative technologies to improve industrial processes.

My professional goal is to lead innovative projects that positively impact the environment and society, and I continually strive to enhance my skills and make significant contributions to the process engineering industry.
